Lavender Flower

This legendary herb belongs to the mint family, but its taste and aroma are completely unique. Its strong, pungent fragrance profile has been described as a blend of mint and rosemary with a sweet, floral touch. Its long history as a beauty and medical treatment shows that lavender oil is much more than just a beautiful herb.

Lavandula angustifolia has long taken advantage of its oil form for its generous scent and healing effects. Queen Elizabeth loved to use lavender as a perfume and even added it to her tea. Victorian ladies loved using lavender oil as a perfume, and it was even used as an antiseptic in the First World War.

Today we use lavender oil as a way to fight headaches, reduce stress, and even keep bugs at bay (bye-bye, mothballs). We love the skin benefits of lavender oil and do everything we can to incorporate it into our beauty routines.
